Kishan Kumar Choudhary and Karan were best friends. Kishen Kumar becomes a rich businessman whereas, Karan remains a humble diesel mechanic. Karan leaves his young daughter Suman at Kishan Kumar's house as he has to leave for Dubai for work. Soon, Kishen Kumar's son Prem and Suman fall in love with each other, but Kishan Kumar dissaproves of the realtionship as they do not belong to the same social class. Karan is hurt by this behaviour and takes his daughter away. Unaffected by the social status Prem tries his best to win over Suman and her father.
