Piya Ka Ghar

Having grown up in a relatively comfortable house and a peaceful village, Malti is shell-shocked to find out after marriage that her husband lives in a box-sized apartment with his entire family in the bustling city of Mumbai, where privacy is a far-fetched dream. The newlyweds are forced to sleep in the kitchen on the first day. They make several comical, but failed, attempts to have some privacy and a frustrated Malti decides to go back to the comfort of her maternal home until her husband finds a place. But her decision is not an easy one to implement.
