Aamhi Chamkate Taare

The film aims to sensitise people about the problems faced by AIDS patients. Sameer Mahajan and his wife Sonali are trying for a child but with no luck. Their doctor suggests them to adopt a child whose mother has recently died. The couple agrees to it but hides the truth from Sameer's parents. Sachin is a talented singer who is later diagnosed with AIDS, which leads to upheavel in his family. He is even discarded from the society and his identity is reduced to a mere disease, until he proves himself.
